Comida corrida - special of the day - also called "Menú Del Día.

Del corral - from the ranch

Del Charco - from the Atlantic.

Empanizado - breaded

Guisado - special menu or menu of the day usually including several items such as soup, main dish and a drink.

Lentejas - lentils. Sopa de lentejas - lentil soup.

Mole - is a delicious type of sauce. It can have many ingredients, is slightly sweet, dark and thick.

Mostaza - mustard

Pa' - is short for "para"

Pal' antojo - "pal'" is short for "para el" and "antojo" means craving

Pal' compadre - "pa" is short for "para". "Compadre" is a good friend who is almost like family, a buddy.

Pa' Taquear - "Pa" is short for "para and "Taquear" is an expression meaning to eat tacos
